What We Do

Writing result-oriented ad copy is difficult, as it must appeal to, entice, and convince consumers to take action. There is no magic formula to write perfect ad copy; it is based on a number of factors, including ad placement, demographic, even the consumer’s mood.

Solos

Our curriculum consists of learning the traditional art form of Irish dance through basics and proper technique. From a young age, we begin teaching dancers proper turnout and technique through strengthening exercises and stretches. A portion of our classes are dedicated to things such as barre work and drills. The integration of these tools start in our youngest programs as we feel it is important for dancers to learn about their bodies and how to properly train and take care of them.

Teams

Team dancing is an integral part of our program that enhances each dancer’s experience with Mattierin. All of our dancers take part and compete in a variety of teams. Not only does team dancing improve each dancer as an individual, it boosts confidence and morale, teaches teamwork and collaboration and enables dancers to feel a greater connection and sense of achievement.

Performances

Dancers of the school perform at a variety of functions and events throughout the year. From senior’s homes to Heritage Days, the Queen’s Royal visit to Edmonton to the Jubilee Auditorium with Shumka’s Ukrainian dancers, performances provide dancers with a well rounded experience and an impressive resumé!
